Ken Mahoney, Managing Director of DMA Stairlifts proudly presents Yvonne Hendry, Activity Organiser, with the 2010 CAT of the Year trophy and certificate at Axbridge Court Nursing Home.

In 2010 Reminiscence Learning launched the CAT of the Year Award. Designed to encourage newly qualified staff (CATs) to use their new skills and knowledge. They can work towards an award that will show they are continuing to make significant changes within their care environment and personal professional development.

The CAT of the Year Award will be presented each year to the person that both their manager and the Reminiscence Learning Board of Trustees believe have most fulfilled the criteria and learning outcomes of the CAT qualification.

There will also be a presentation of an engraved trophy and certificate for the individual and the Care Home. Furthermore the Home will be presented with a hamper of activities.
